An art collector, art advisor, art journalist, art economist, Marta Gnyp is also the author of the influential publication: The Shift. Art and the Rise to Power of Contemporary Collectors. At ABHK 2018, we discussed how the role of collectors are being negotiated and redefined in such occasion, and tried to demystify the art world through a few images.
About Marta Gnyp
Marta Gnyp is a Dutch art historian based in Berlin active as international art advisor, art journalist and art collector specialized in contemporary art. She published the book The Shift. Art and the Rise to Power of Contemporary Collectors based on her PHD research in the field of art history/art sociology and also started her own gallery GNYP in Berlin.
